Coreopsis verticillata 'Moonbeam'
This long-lived, popular, drought-tolerant cultivar bears abundant, persistent, eye-catching flowers from June through October. 2” wide blossoms in soft muted shades of creamy yellow dance 18-24” tall among the delicate effect of threadlike leaves. Forms sizable colonies and looks lovely along the front of a border or path. Deadheading in midsummer encourages more late season blooms. Prefers well-drained soil in a sunny spot. Zone 3-9. New England native species.
